Run this command in a command prompt

calibredb --with-library "C:\Documents and Settings\XXX\My Documents\library" list

Make sure the folder above exists and is empty before running the command.

If you get no errors and just some messages about upgrading the database, start calibre as

calibre --with-library "C:\Documents and Settings\XXX\My Documents\library"

And from then on you can use calibre as normal.
