You cannot tell me that this doesn't have Microsoft wetting their pants just a little. If Intel decides to keep their portable chips for MeeGo only then Microsoft might have a little bit of a problem. Can Win7 even run on ARM processors? If it can, how many of the existing apps can?
I am sorry, but I just don't see Microsoft being in a good position for tablets. I still contend that they are coming late to the game. Or perhaps more precisely, they are catching on late that the rules of the game suddenly changed.

Not addressed to you specifically, but along those lines:
I don't actually care who's late to the game or how many competitors there are already. I would like to see a lot of competition, so I can pick and choose. I don't care which company "wins," as long as I can buy something that works for me.
