actually tech wasnt Polymervision's issue. They had produced several beta runs (a thousand-ish devices total)and were ready for full production- the last beta run was literally fully sellable stock.

Polymer Vison actually ran into a bit of funding trouble when it turned out a Major investor was involved in a Ponzi/Pyramid scheme. This led to the inability to attract more funding because ownership was in doubt.

The bankruptcy changed all of that. Wistron is now fully backing them and they continued to make improvements along the way while everything was in limbo. They have kept their team intact and are looking forward to rolling a device out in the next 6-8 months.

It wont be what you think of as the readius since that is essentially nearly 3 year old tech. It will be a sort of Readius 2.0

I actually got to sit down and speak with Edzer Huitema recently and they are really putting things in place again. He even brought an original readius that i got to "play" with.

Im really looking forward to the new device
