I think I must have whacked the display of my DR800 with something because a little dark spot has appeared and doesn't disappear when I power off, change pages or wipe the screen.
Looking at iRex's website it seems to be what they describe as "
burst cell". Now I realise that I probably don't want to be sending my device to iRex at the moment, so is there anything
I can do? I'm guessing no, but I thought I'd check.
Also, has anyone any experience claiming on insurance for a damaged eBook reader? How bad does the damage have to be before they will replace it? I'm guessing it really depends on my insurer!
