Yep, files on SD card should take more power, since it is
hardware at work. My best bet is that faster cards drain
less. At least I learnt it from music player usage.
As epub books are from various sources, of distinct lengths
and formatting, would be fine to know if shorter parts give
better power consumption. Calibre have an option to change
that size. Maybe it is not a matter of different readers, but
different books people read?
