People can be happy without money, sure. But would they normally be happier with an extra 100 dollars in the pocket?

Money buys security, entertainment (which is what the US was founded on...we work so we can afford to not be bored on our days off), health, and peace of mind.


it is human nature...we are creatures that consume. The more you can afford to consume then the happier you are.

Money does not fix you though.

If you are a drunk with no money in the bank you will still be a drunk with a million bucks in the bank. You will just be drinking better shit.

People think because of that type of example that money does not buy happiness.
