I didn't see a response to your question but didn't read every post so forgive me if this is a duplicate.
The quick answer is no. Amazon has chosen to only support its own DRM and doesn't appear to allow anyone else to use it. These books use Adobe Digital Editions for the DRM. Just about any ereader except a Kindle would work with them.
