BBel, Borders are doing their best with their current customer service and it seems like they are still as good at it as when they started (i.e. they are USELESS). Unlike what the comment is below it is a new version of the app (I cant test as I already upgraded my Kobo).

You can find the borders post at this site http://bordersau.zendesk.com/home (its borders helpdesk). Unlike the comment in the thread its a new version of the app because after installing it my NOD32 detected a change in the program and threw an alert (its safe to instal, it just notes when programs have been changed).

Zoran, the only difference I can see between the Kobo desktop and the Borders desktop (apart from the branding) is that they connect to different bookstores. They are pretty well the same thing apart from that.
