You probably will have better luck going through Kindle support rather than the general Amazon customer support.

The $110 deal is for the US only version, not the International version...if the US version is what you bought within 30 days, you will likely get a refund of some sort (others have).
No such luck... Kindle support said no

It was only a $30 diffrence. I paid $259 for my first kindle.. $139 wasnt bad for a 2nd.. at least i didn't pay the original price of $360.
