Which firmware for which formats?
I've got a used white Opus on its way from eBay. From the owner's description, it's been sitting in a drawer for some time, so it is most likely the first Opus, and probably has the original firmware on it, whatever that might be.

Which of the new firmwares allows me to read the most formats?

I've got eBooks in a variety of formats, with NO DRM and only want to bother with one firmware upgrade.
