I wasn't even suggesting that one movie-- it just happened to be one of the movies available at the site (and one I haven't watched.) But offerings include things like the light but enjoyable (Swing Girls, Azume, Yokai Wars), and the weird but enjoyable (Big Man Japan, Turtles Swim Faster than Expected, Crime or Punishment) along with the more mainstream and horror (Battle Royale is one obvious modern classic there.) No Kurosawa samurai films, but there is Yoji Yamada's The Hidden Blade, and I think that his "trilogy" of The Twilight Samurai, The Hidden Blade, and Love and Honor are some of the closest to Kurosawa quality films from a modern Japanese director. None of Katsuhito Ishii's "good but weird" (a sad absence) but others that I mentioned above...

In short, I was pointing out the good stuff.

(And, for the sake of full disclosure, I did notice one "adult" video on page 2 when I was rebrowsing right now-- so it is only 99 or 98 percent theatrical releases, FWIW.)
