I don't reread books, so I don't care about storage. I like to read before bed, so I need to be able to easily hold it in one hand. I don't want to be restricted to kindle books only. I was thinking about getting the Sony 300, but I read fast and was concerned about the smaller screen. I was also considering Kobo, but I have read that the page turns are slow. The Nook seems to meet most of my needs, but I was afraid it might be heavy for one hand. Am I wrong about these? Any other suggestions? Thanks.
I guess, there's a reason why you went for a touchscreen reader in the first place.
If so, you should check out BeBook Neo/Onyx Boox. Similar featureset to Sony 600, less glare due to WACOM tablet, similar price level. And it does ePUB as well, so you even can use the Sony books (if you have bought some).
If you're not into touchscreens anymore, nook certainly is a very good choice, especially after the significant price reduction.
BTW: Sony 900 has less glare than Sony 600, may be worth checking out as well (one of my personal favorites).
