When I took the métro this afternoon, we skipped one station because it was flooded, according to the announcements
Most likely the water on the sidewalks rushed down the stairs, making them dangerous or just unusable. I have seen this happen with summer showers. A métro flash flood
(I looked as we passed the station but was disappointed, no water in sight.)
