A sub-par issue. I liked the novelettes ‘Slow Boat’ and ‘Warning Label’ (although Warning Label's ending seemed a bit weak).

I wasn't fond of the short story ‘The Battle of Little Big Science’ (I just couldn't believe it, and if it was meant to be humorous, I didn't find it so). I didn't think the novelette ‘The Witch, The Tinman, The Flies’ was actually science fiction.

Next: F&SF, July-August 2010 by Spilogate, Inc. F&SF has moved to six bigger issues a year - falling circulation and rising postage costs. Perhaps ebooks will save the magazines, if they actually start offering direct ebook subscriptions.
