I wear different shirts to work. I have even been known to wear a Hawian-style bright short on a 'non-casual' work day. It upsets the Puritans at work. Which I enjoy doing. They get all bothered about tattoos as well.
I then get to point out their Puritan Attitudes are fake.
The Puritans didn't wear black/white clothing, and never wore silver buckles on their hats. That is due to Americans in the late 1800s trying to 'pretty up' the colonial past.
