As for being routed to Safari - not their fault. It's required by Apple. No app can have the store inside it, but must use Safari for purchasing new content. Kindle users have gotten used it.

And my ebook library page, when it isn't "temporarily unavailable", which it has been on and off, continues to show 0 items. Maybe temporarily unavailable means they're working on things. I'll just keep trying & hope they get things fixed by the 14th. Not that I don't have more books than I could possibly read in this lifetime already....
True about the Kindle app and I just never paid attention - I suppose because they don't call attention to it.
