Yes, it's auto-rotatable and you can switch it to choose your mode.
It's not as smooth as a scroll. When you're finished reading that page you press NextPage button to get the text below but it does cover the contents of the entire page.
You can also choose "Actual Size" and scroll from left to right and back, and down.
