The wi-fi and 3g is free.

I have both units and I think the page turning is about the same, but the Sony does have a better book management system.

I believe, if you really need to display PDF the best they can be.. then an iPad might be better. I have not found a ereader that displays pdf files to a high standard.

Maybe the nook 2 might be better at it ..that is something we have to wait and see.
