Allkazzam by Daniel Abelman

This is one weird book. There's a lot of characters with hard-to-pronounce names and some foreign language words here and there...I had to read the opening segment twice. The first time I had no idea what it was, then when the chapter started, I got it and went back to re-read it. The long descriptions are peppered with humor and the story is doled out with a lot of hints...it does jump around quite a bit. This is one that is definitely not a "western" setting (which means I'm missing some of the humor and getting some of it late.)

It's...interesting so far.
