Depends on what piques your interest, I think.

Personally, I find most hard core porn boring beyond measure. The imagination is the best erotic stimulus. Leave nothing to the imagination, and you often subtract a great deal from the story.

One of my cases in point is Anais Nin's _Delta of Venus_. It's a collection stories written for a patron, who demanded action and only action. They read like outlines for the stories Nin wanted to write, but wasn't allowed to. What was stripped out in the pursuit of action was depth and character.

Most of the interesting erotica these days isn't marketed as porn -- it's sold as romance.
