I haven't done anything to the books in Calibre, except upload them to the ereader. Another strange thing I noticed: sometimes (but not always) pressing the right double arrow >> will move you back...

Well, my old Kobo Glo just updated to the latest firmware and now it's useless. Epubs open at 99% read, page 1/1... Resetting and going back to the previous firmware :brood:

btw kepubs still work...

I have the same problem on Win XP and I did manually download the update. Upon starting the exe the update was installed 'Kobo style' within 3 seconds without any further questions.

I installed Kobo Desktop 3.9.0 on Windows XP and now get an error message:

C:\Program Files\Kobo\Kobo.exe is not a valid Win32 application.

Is there a way to go back to the old version? :angry:

Oh, OK. :) Dutch Glo's normally receive the update about 3 weeks after the initial...

I have seen the same thing on my Kobo Glo using 2.5.2 firmware. The bookmark functionality came back at some point. I'm not sure what I did to make it work though.

Sounds like the annotations feature is not very reliable. It seems that everything works fine with the kepubs...

I checked again and the problem seems to happen only with bookmarks (not highlights) and only with epubs (and pdfs) which are downloaded from the internet. I just tested two books that I purchased...

I recently bought a Kobo Glo and I noticed that I can't save notes. I can add (attach) notes to bookmarks but if I close the book and reopen it the notes are gone. Is this normal for the Kobo Glo? Or...
