Can Calibre automatically find ISBN from files?

I'm not sure if this has already been addressed, I couldn't find it while searching the forum, but is there anyway for Calibre to search PDF files (or other files) for the ISBN and automatically...

More info on this.. I went into the sdcard on the DroidX and under wordplayer there is a folder called calibretransfer with the epub i sent to it along with the News... so Calibre was able to connect...
