Thanks for the tip! I'll charge it once it reaches 10% mark. I have registered it once I found a wifi access.Currently my Nook has passed 10 days without charging (still at 26% ).

I never experience a battery drop in stand by mode. It will drop once I start reading, but it's normal use.

Stand by is screensaver...
