And I have my screensavers working as well. I retried relinking through SSH the original 600x800 directory to the screensavers directory at the /us/mnt level and this time it has taken.

Cool Screensaver Issues

EightWeight,
As per my post in the Jailbreaking Kindle 4 thread I am using jpg greyscale images. The file names are not the same as the original names e.g. bob_600_800.jpg etc and these work fine...

Thanks for the info - yes the driver does appear to be the issue - I had previously seen the popup and read ... somewhere ... to manually update it to use a Network Adaptor from Microsoft Corporation...
