Kindle book cover thumbnails disappearing
This bug fix works well as long as I side-load using a USB cable but it doesn't seem to work if I download books using calibre-server. Am I missing something here?

Solved it! This command will kill the server (and the GUI, if it's running):
kill $(ps aux | grep '[c]alibre*' | awk '{print $2}')

How do I shut down server from cli?
I've set up a hotkey that runs "sudo systemctl start calibre-server" and it works well. BUT when I try to launch the Calibre GUI it refuses to launch with the error message:
calibre, version 5.5.0...

Restore/recreate Calibre database
I have been trying to restore the database of my Calibre library. Calibre reported it corrupt and offered to recover it. It went all the way through the list of books (about 1200) and at the very end...

OK, I found Tweaks, duh. Feel like a doofus.
As to the email thing - the test function crashes on me. I tried SSL encryption and that solved the problem for me!

Kindle timeout too short
Well....? She's right, isn't she?
Has anyone figured out how to lengthen the Kindle's timeout so it doesn't go offline while you're connected to it via ssh or sshfs? The latter is very annoying...
