Forced autoupdates even on older firmware?

Today I connected my PW4 5.11.2 with the update.bin.tmp.partial folder to the wifi(usually I am in permanent airplane mode), did my usual round of package updates, used "Sync your Kindle", rebooted...

I'm not knowledgeable about the DRM used but I'd be surprised if someone reversed decryption but it was a huge problem to make out...

I can notice very faint clicking if I put my head to the kindle and press on the bottom part, but I doubt you'd notice that...

I guess I don't care since installing the KUALBooklet-coplate-d20a095-20181108.zip made it work...
