Exclamation DISK/FILE SCANNER???

Is there a Disk Scan or File Scan utility that will scan my storage devices and enable selective import of downloaded books (preferably with a check-box list) to Calibre 64-bit?

First of all, DO NOT PANIC!

You're running MS Windows and you noticed you have more than one version of Calibre loaded after you installed an upgrade. Perhaps, the 'msi not found' error popped up...
