With tweak setting is series_index_auto_increment = 'next' all the book all get a series_index [1]
With "no_change" the index...

I encountered some unexpected Calibre behaviour.

When I tried to modify the series field of some books using "edit metadata in bulk, basic metadata" not only the series field was modified,...
