Is this project dead?

I've tried to access the project site, but the documentation is gone. I recall that the software wasn't working on the Japanese versions when I first checked it out years ago, is this still the case?...

I am using an android smartphone with an sd card to copy books to the prs-650, and calibre companion/openvpn to sync the tablet with my main calibre installation. works quite well.
