OK thanks! I just enabled it and it seemed to work fine - I can view the Special Offers now. I also disabled it again and my customized screen savers came back just as they were before.

I just got a replacement Kindle 3G, and it came with 3.2.1. I now see that 3.3 is available. Do you guys recommend I update? Should I jailbreak before updating? Does the 3.2.1 jailbreak work on 3.3?

I live in NYC and have yet to encounter a coffee shop that has banned my Kindle... not saying it doesn't happen, but I don't think its as common as this article makes it seem.

I think this problem is still there on some sites... you get a popup saying the site is trying to open another window, and that the Kindle Browser doesn't support multiple windows. Very annoying!

I had a similar problem logging into the NY Times mobile site. The boxes wouldn't accept any characters. I assumed a bug in the browser.
