I noticed that Sigil-0.8.900 starts spinning indefinitely (on Mac, Yosemite) when trying to add the semantic "cover image" to a jpeg. It does so reproducibly.

Chaley, you are close. "hostname -f" should return the fully qualified hostname, but in my case the domain is missing. Domains on apple systems are a mess.
