They don't appear to be bungling the firmware rollout. They're taking their time. They've already disclosed that they're releasing device specific firmwares, targeting regions and specific hardware...

UK KT user here. Downloaded the 2.1.4...

UK KT user here.

Downloaded the 2.1.4 firmware and performed a manual upgrade. KT froze on "Updating" screen. Fails to start, fails to do anything, bricked.

I doubt it. It was a perfectly working feature previously, and in introducing a new feature they've broken something related.

It happens all the time, and users like spinning conspiracy theories...
