I agree the whole Apple Nanny mentality is challenging to me. However if anything is going to kill Android it's the fractured market. Too many different hardware specs and incomplete implementations....

Apple does ban apps that duplicate CORE...
Apple does ban apps that duplicate CORE functionality such as Phone dialing. Basically any Built in App. The iBook app will be a free download. Not exactly core. I am pretty sure Apple won't ban...

Replacement cover idea.
