You are paying that for the capability of displaying Jeppesen charts which are in a propriety vector graphics format. You then have to pay $$$ for the charts themselves.

Go to page works fine with flipbar, it is just slow to use. I use all the time. Box zoom and pan requires the stylus and I think they are the only things that cannot be done via the menu system.

Anything rattling around inside it? Sounds like a loose component or bad internal memory ( not the sd card ) I believe one device has been reported here with corrupted memory.

I justed looked at the spec for the 903 and it looks good with zoom and annotation with ADE for DRM support . I would hope that they have something similar to the the fantastic...

I must say that the combo of rc3 zoom/pan and the 1000 ctb make for the most usable pdf viewer ereader out...

Put fbreader on it so you have access to other formats such as chm.
Have a look at the 800+ thread which allows access to 5 open documents...

To clarify, the S version does not have the gobi hardware ( need someone to crack open their precious reader to check this ) and hence there is no point including the drivers in the firmware.

That is quite possible, someone would have to dig into the SG software to see if it can be used world wide. I believe MrX did look (could be wrong) but I can't remember the conclusion.
