How do I delete audio files from my PRS-505?

My PRS-505 is exhausting its battery, I think because it's continually playing the music files. I've found out how to stop that, but can't find anywhere, including the manual, how to delete audio...

Thanks and hi - yes, I can view the file with adobe 7.0 - it looks like it has been scanned in, but I can highlight text, copy and paste into Word - it comes up in all different sized fonts, however....

Many thanks to those who have welcomed me. I'm still getting to grips with my reader, and you're quite right, Harry, only the 505 is sold in the UK, and that's where my Wife bought it! Waterstones...
