Cover problems with Sigil files (again)

1 Attachment(s)
Dr. K,
I again need guidance for using Calibre 0.7.2 with Sigil Epub files. The cover does not showup in Calibre and may or may not appear in the mobi output even with the "Use cover from source file" selected.

The cover.xhtml is tagged as "cover" in the code and appears the be placed properly in the OPF.

The attached zip file contains an image of the Calibre page, the OPF file, and the example Epub file. Is there something missing from the Sigil output to cause this problem?

Hopefully, Charlie. :o

That file has an incorrect

<meta name="cover" content="ChapterEnd.jpg"/>

element. It points to the wrong image

That appears to be a "rule" (straight line picture) Aka "chapterend.jpg"

You can rightclick and add "Semantics":"Cover" to the image in the book (Sigil)browser

"Title page.jpg" has a space in the name: avoid :)

Doing that and saving, made the cover appear when I imported into Calibre

Now that you point it out I see it. :eek: Now I have to figure out how to fix it. I do add semantics -> cover in Sigil. And I will remove any spaces in image names.

Thank you very much.
