Here's a followup of my previous history of the geological sciences ebook by John Playfair 'Illustrations of the Huttonian Theory of the Earth'. It was published anonymously in 1802 by John Murray, a lecturer in chemistry and supporter of Neptunian (Wernerian) geology at the University of Edinburgh, and is the rebuttal to Playfair's book published earlier that year.

The ebook includes a review of Mr Murray's book published in 1804 in the Edinburgh Review.

Version 1.1 corrected many typo errors, slightly changed the formatting in a few places to more closely conform to the original book, and added internal hotlinks for the footnotes and the original TOC. (66 views for Version 1.0)

I recenty uploaded v. 1.1 of the epub. Modifications are numerous spelling and other error corrections, slight formatting changes, and addition of internal href TOC and footnotes.
