Question on selling
 

Long time lurker, first post here.

I'm selling my PRS505 to make room for a PRS900. I know that I need to dissociate my reader in the Sony Library software, but I don't know how to wipe the device in an efficient manner prior to giving it to the new owner. I'd surely like a hint on the conventions followed.

I don't want to make this a FS post (not sure the rules here, and I didn't see any, so I want to err on the side of courtesy), so if anyone wants a link to the auction, please PM me.

There's a Flea Market section of the forum where you can post your for-sale items. 505's generally sell within hours.

As far as wiping the device, I believe there is a "format internal memory" option somewhere or other (I've never needed to use it, so I haven't looked). That will do the trick.

A hard reset will erase all your content.
