I, in Newcastle, NSW Australia, after putting my two children to bed, read an ecletic blog (Crooked Timber) about culture change in the last decades (highbrow/middle and lowbrow tastes in art, food and entertainment) which referred to this particular Dorothy Sayer's as mixing references to changing cultural tastes as well as the ususal Whimsy and lo , here he/she is.
