Fustrating Text spacing (BUG?) in BD, Sony 505
 

Hello,

I have come across a very fustrating problem with BD when viewing the outputed LRF on my 505. I am getting (only in one certain section of the text) huge spacing gaps between characters, where on screen in Book Designer it looks perfectly normal. I have tried deleting the entire section, re-typing the text and I am still getting the same Issue. The problem is only apprent once BD has converted the book to LRF. The problem can be seen on the sony reader device and in the sony readers software when it previews the file. Has anybody come across an issue like this? The spacing gap is about 4 or 5 characters wide. Aside from clicking the "paragraph" button in BD is there a way of completly removing formatting from a certain section of text. I am assuming that somehow the section of text has got some strange formatting set on it.

Hi, try selecting the text and then go to Tools--> HTML Fragment Editor.
This shows you the html code, so you can find and remove the strange formating .. if exist, of course.
