Cannot send free samples to the Kindle anymore
 

Has it happened to anyone lately that on the Amazon site free samples can only be viewed (Look inside) but not transferred to devices?
The whole left column has disappeared (just Explore content and Customize your view are present)

As part of their continuing shift toward KFX format Amazon has changed the way that the Look Inside view works.

You can still get a sample by using the "Send a free sample" button on the bottom right of the book's main Amazon web page.
