Best way to auto-download high-res images? Plugin?

Hi,

I have several books that need proper covers and metadata. I'd rather not have to do it manually.

When I pull metadata one-by-one, I get high-res photos. When I do a multi-file metadata pull, I get small, low-res photos. The other data seems almost identical. What can I do to get the high-res photos in a bulk metadata pull? I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. I've had this issue for awhile now.

Is there a particular plugin that would help with this? I'm looking over several but don't know which sites are better for images. Is there a place we can specify a minimum image size for downloading?

Thanks so much!

Look at the log for the individual metadata download to check where the high res cover is coming from. Then either raise the cover priority fo rhtat source in metadata download preferences or disable all other sources and do your bulk download

Search the Internet PI has a option to set what PX to look for.
This is not proof against padded images.
Note tis is also a per book
:bulb2: GIGO If you are fussy about the image, then you need to take a small bit of time to PICK a good one from the lineup. PX count does not show cr*p contrast or other odities. Use your EYES
