He worked for Munsey’s and Harper’s magazines, and contrbuted short stories, articles, and poetry to numerous other magazines as well. His best known works are the humorous poems that parody Aesop’s Fables, Mother Goose, and Grimm’s Fairy Tales. First published in 1900. This book is in the public domain in countries where copyright is “Life+80” or less, and in the USA. |
