Add Copy

Question - is it possible to define the default name when using Add Copy (Ctrl+Shift+Y)?

I am editing some books that have multiple chapters in each html file so that each chapter is in its own file (I read that is the preferred layout).

I have created a blank file named chapter.xhtml which I can add to the book as a template, but when I right click on that to create a copy the copy created is named 'section...' which I then have to rename to my preferred 'chapter...' style.

I have looked in Sigil's preferences but I can't see anything that relates to the default name of a copy, but I was wondering if it is buried somewhere I have not found.

Why not use Sigil's Add Existing... to add all of the xhtml files you have at once and then use Sigil's Find and Replace to make them look like your template.

Alternatively, use your approach and create all of the copies using the Default name and then afterwards use the RERenamer to rename them en masse to what you want them to be, instead of trying to edit each file name one by one.

Thanks - I had not spotted the fact you could rename them en masse. I see how it works now.
