He wrote 14 novels in the Oz series, plus 41 other novels, as well as many short stories, poems, and plays. Thanks for all of your hard work! I read all of Baum's original Oz books years ago and enjoyed the original illustrations. Seeing a new Oz epub release always puts a smile on my face.

I must admit, I did not care for the illustrations in a couple of the previous books --- Neill was indulging in what I would call "Confetti and Spaghetti School of Cookery", so I could hardly make out the images due to multitudes of specks and spots and lines. These later books, he is moving back to simpler easy-to-comprehend line drawings. Slowly but surely, I am making my way through Baum's sequence of Oz books. |
