Pick multiple random books?
 

I know that Viewer has the option to randomly select a book but does Calibre itself have an option to randomly select/highlight multiple books? Or is there a plugin that will do that?

Basically I have a lot of unread books and sometimes it's easier to pick, say, 10 books randomly to choose from for uploading to my kindle than trying to scroll through a couple thousand.

The dice Icon Picks a random book. :bulb: set your view (Virtual Library) to show just Unread

Dice icon? I'm using version 4.12.

Right click the view button choose read a random book

And if you dont want to launch the viewer go to Preferences->toolbars and add "Pick a random book" to the toolbar

It would be nice if there was a way to select/highlight multiple books. I do have a large, ever changing vl of books I know I want to read next. Being able to randomly select a group at once would be nice.
Just a thought.
