Newbie David, I just bought a Paper White Kindle last week but having problems as to how to use the Kindle app! Does anyone know of a web site, pdf file or anything that can give me instructions as to using the App? Tks for any help, I'm a senior and a bit slow with all this digital stuff!! David

What does a Kindle app have to do with a Kindle Paperwhite?

David...you posted on the Amazon Kindle forum also. You need to clarify your questions. You don't use the Kindle app if you're using a Paperwhite. You use the app if you also would like to read on a smart phone, tablet, or computer.

I thought that the software used on the Paperwhite to read a book is the same App as used on the regular Kindles!! David

The Paperwhite is a regular Kindle.

Why berate the OP over the use of the word "app" to refer to the software running on his Kindle?

To actually answer the question. The Kindle comes with a book that has the instruction manual. You just have to know how to use the Kindle in order to read it. Catch 22!

To be honest I thought the OP was asking a question about using his Paperwhite in conjunction with the Kindle app on another device. I just wasn't sure exactly what the question was. I guess "app" is what threw me.
