Alternative to swiping to navigate book lists?

Hello, all.

I've recently switched to using an Aura One LE from an old nook Simple Touch I've had for years. I love pretty much everything about the Aura One, save for one thing: the way you have to swipe to move up or down through pages of books in your library. The nook had arrow buttons on the screen you could use. I find that when I intend to swipe, about 50% of the time I end up accidentally opening a book instead of moving down to the next page of books. This is driving me absolutely nuts.

Is there a glaringly obvious way to move through book lists without having to swipe? Or a mod that changes the list so that it's easier to navigate?

I don't think there's another way you can do that. Try to be quick and not let your finger linger on the screen, it's also a matter of practice (though it will still happen sometimes, or at least it does to me)
Also, if I want to navigate through a long list of books I will usually input the page number that I think is closest to what I'm searching for and go from there, to minimize swiping. You can do that by tapping on the list's page number indicator (which wasn't obvious to me at first).

It sounds to me like you're swiping up-and-down. I swipe side-to-side along the bottom margin and I rarely have accidental openings. YMMV

THANK YOU! It never would have occurred to me to try that, and that's close enough what I was looking for.
