Working with Clips - need help
Hello,
I started working with clips in Sigil and found there are placeholders like \1, \U, \E etc. Is threre a source that explains meanings and possibilities of these symbols? And an overall help guide about creating clips in Sigil? Thanks. |
These "placeholders" are nothing special for Sigil, but are coming from regular expressions, a good site for this is https://www.regular-expressions.info/
To get the whole advantage of Sigil's performance you need to learn them anyhow :) |
Oh! Thanks a lot! :)
|
The Sigil User Guide is also a good resource. Don't worry that its a couple of versions out of date its still excellent for core functions like Clips and Saved Searches.

Namely this one: https://github.com/Sigil-Ebook/Sigil...ide_0_7_2.epub. Downloading individual files from a github source tree on the web can be a bit of a pain. It'd be pretty silly of us to have a manual for Sigil that Sigil couldn't open. ;) |
