You read it on an Internet blog, so it must be true.

The owner of the blog is serious. It is not the first time, he got leaked infos. But then it was always correct.

Furthermore, I wrote "maybe" ;-)

Not a surprise really. The Kindle Fire HDX wasn't available for all that long and then was replaced with the cheapie Kindle Fire. I have both and the HDX is so much better, but given it's cost compared to the replacement, it was doomed.

Seems like reasonable speculation. Audio book market is really growing, so go back to the Kindle that can do both. And now the sync feature will work between audiobook and ebook on a Kindle.

But wow, expandable storage. Also makes sense, I guess, considering Amazon's growing interest in manga/comics/etc.

I just went to Amazon. The Oasis is still available. Yes, the first link took me to the currently unavailable one. So I clicked on the Oasis in the banner. Well now, guess what I found. I found the Oasis is still very much available.
The wifi only one is not being sold. The wifi +3g is still being sold.

I would guess they are just putting 3g or free cellular on all the Oasis.

I'm already in the market for the new Fire HD 10 but I would also jump on a Kindle ereader with audio and more storage, expandable or just more internal, I don't mind, :)
